How we handle your data, how we work together, refunds, and advance payments — written in plain language.

1. Privacy Policy
Adverse (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.
What we collect
Contact details you give us: name, email, phone, brand name, Instagram or YouTube handle.
Project details you share with us so we can quote or do the work.
Basic analytics about how visitors use this website (pages viewed, device, approximate location).
How we use it
To reply to your enquiries and schedule calls.
To send project updates, invoices and work deliverables.
To improve our website and services.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with trusted tools that help us run the business — email (EmailJS), hosting, invoicing and advertising platforms — and only to the extent needed to deliver our services.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold on you, correct it, or delete it. Email reachadverse@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
This site uses minimal cookies for session state and analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some site features may stop working if you do.
2. Terms of Service
By engaging Adverse for any service, you agree to the following terms.
Scope of work
Every project is defined in a written proposal or statement of work (SOW) that lists the deliverables, timelines and price. Work outside the SOW is treated as a new scope and quoted separately.
Timelines
Timelines assume timely delivery of inputs from your side (brand assets, approvals, access). Delays on your end extend the delivery date one-for-one.
Revisions
Every deliverable includes a set number of revision rounds listed in the SOW. Additional rounds are billed at our hourly rate.
Ownership
On full payment, you own the final deliverables (edited videos, finished creatives, landing page code). Working files, raw footage, and templates we developed in-house remain our property unless the SOW says otherwise.
Confidentiality
We keep your business information confidential and expect the same for ours. Publicly visible work (reels, ads, websites) may be added to our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
Liability
Our maximum liability for any claim is capped at the fees paid for the specific project in question. We are not responsible for third-party platform decisions (ad disapprovals, account restrictions, algorithm changes).
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version always lives on this page; the “last updated” date reflects the most recent change.
3. Refund Policy
We work in trust-based engagements. Our refund policy is written to be fair to both sides.
Before work starts
If you cancel before any work has begun, we refund 100% of the advance paid, minus any payment-gateway charges we incurred.
After work has started
If you cancel after work has started, we calculate how much of the scope was already delivered and bill for that portion at the SOW rate. The balance of your advance is refunded within 10 business days.
Monthly retainers
Monthly retainers (social media management, video editing packages, ad management) can be cancelled with 15 days’ written notice. The current month is non-refundable; the next cycle will not be charged.
What is not refundable
Ad spend already placed on Meta/YouTube/Google.
Third-party costs billed through us (stock licenses, voice-over artists, hosting).
Work already delivered and approved.
How to request a refund
Email reachadverse@gmail.com with your project reference. We respond within 3 business days and process approved refunds within 10 business days to the original payment method.
For one-off projects, we take 50% advance before kick-off and the remaining 50% on delivery. For projects above ₹1,00,000, we may agree on a 40/30/30 milestone split in the SOW.
Monthly retainers
Monthly retainers are billed on the 1st of every month and payable within 5 business days. Work pauses if an invoice crosses 15 days overdue.
Accepted payment methods
UPI, IMPS, NEFT or RTGS to our registered bank account.
Razorpay / Stripe payment links (gateway charges may apply).
International clients: wire transfer in USD or EUR.
Ad spend
Ad spend is kept separate from service fees. You can either fund your own ad account directly, or send us a top-up and we’ll bill it at zero markup with a monthly spend report.
Late payments
Invoices more than 30 days overdue attract a 1.5% monthly late fee. We may pause active work and withhold deliverables until outstanding dues are cleared.
Taxes
All prices are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. GST is charged at the applicable rate on every invoice.
